The principals of our company:
Catherine Rawson & Brett Rand Guldemond met at the NEA headquarters where Catherine was employed as their lead designer. Brett worked as a freelance artist for lots of local DC and VA clients, but fell in love with Catherine while working for her
as one of her graphic minions!
Brett started a small agency in DC, after completing his contract at NEA, and Catherine would moonlight for him. They soon found that their differing disciplines complemented each other, and within a year they were married!
Some people say they would go nuts working with their spouse,
but for Catherine and Brett, magic things happen when collaborating on a project.
Brett has done a little of everything in his job experience, and has a firm grip on what particular target markets are most influenced by. Catherine on the other hand, has a fantastic ability to “Vulcan Mind Meld” with her clients, turning ideas into ad campaigns.
and Catherine’s typographic, layout and design expertise (We called her the “Quark Queen”), Rand and Rawson come together to produce some fantastic award winning campaigns. Where other teams find themselves stuck in a rut, we find solutions that WORK!
Now if that’s not blowing our
own horn, I don’t know what is!!
